On today’s Fit Chat with Annett Davis, Annett interviews Alyson McNish from http://proudtobeafitmom.blogspot.com. Alyson has a degree in Kinesiology (sports medicine) and Paramedics. She also was a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Alyson says on her blog that she has “worked out for what seems to be my entire life either playing sports or in the gym. I used to use food as a drug to numb the pain and am a binge eater at heart. Believe me I have been fat.” Currently Alyson is a stay at home homeschooling mother of 4 and has learned over the years to take control of her life in positive ways.” This is a multi-part interview. On this episode we talk about her passion for running, how she influences her kids towards a lifestyle of fitness, and how homeschooling moms (and any mom for that matter) can help their kids (and each other) get fit.
