Forks Over Knives is a new feature film that will be released nationwide on March 11, 2011. ” It examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods. The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering yet under-appreciated researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn. The idea of food as medicine is put to the test. Throughout the film, cameras follow “reality patients” who have chronic conditions from heart disease to diabetes. Doctors teach these patients how to adopt a whole foods plant-based diet as the primary approach to treat their ailments—while the challenges and triumphs of their journeys are revealed.” For more info click here.
Personally, I cannot wait to see this film! Food Inc. was one of the first films of this type that I saw that started to change my mind on so many things I’ve been taught. I haven’t seen this film yet, but I do believe that the way we’ve been eating, and our S.A.D diet in America (Standard American Diet) has been slowly killing us. I think that we all should seek out ways to reverse the mess we’ve gotten ourselves into. Besides, it’s always good to explore and learn new things if it may help your health. Below you’ll find a the trailer.

I am so excited to see this movie. Finally one that focuses on Dr. Campbell’s “China Study” book. It is a life changing book and I can just imagine what positive things this movie will do for others for their health and longer life. Thank you for posting this, hope others will be excited to see this as much as I am!
Can’t wait to see it.
This week, we’ve done a meatless menu, and will continue on to next week. I strongly agree with you about the SAD slowly killing the American people. We can’t wait to see this as well.
I can’t wait to see this one. I wish I could get everyone I know to watch it as well.
