Have you heard of Kidstoon? They are a small organization dedicated to bringing fun, affordable, safe family oriented programming to movie theaters nationwide. They provide a new movie and related activities (books, coloring contests, talking tips for parents, etc) each month, with matinees playing every weekend. To get you in the Halloween spirit, this month Spookly the Square Pumpkin comes out, and one lucky Fit Moms Fit Kids Club reader will win some free swag in our FIRST Giveaway!!!
About the Movie:
“One Day in the Pumpkin Patch, the strangest little pumpkin hatched…Spookley the Square Pumpkin was different. In a world where “The only good pumpkins are round pumpkins!”, Spookley is shunned by the other pumpkins until a mighty storm threatens to destroy the entire patch. As the storm rages, Spookley proves that being different can save the day. “It’s fine to be round while the weather is fair, but there are times it’s better to be a square!”
The idea that I LOVE behind this movie is that it helps to teach kids that different doesn’t equal bad. We all have a purpose. We are all unique and special in our own ways. My kids would love one of these awesome prize packs, but Kidstoon is giving it to one of YOU!

I love that I am seeing more, and more books, and cartoons that talk about how being different is okay! So many kids get a mixed perception of how they should look, feel, act, talk etc. I have a godson who is 6 years old and has diabetes. He has been on insulin for as long as I can remember, 4 times a day atleast. He misses school often due to not feeling well, and feels differnt everyday, he has a sister, and 2 brothers and thinks they are “normal”. I try to to tell him each chance I get how special , and wonderful God made him, and how he is perfect just the way he is. The tune he walks to sounds just as sweet! Being himself with dignity, and pride I pray will teach him that the world out there is small compare to what he can do in it! This package would go to him, if we win, My Sweet Nathan!
This movie is a classic…I would love for my toddler to have it!

What an awesome story! I would SO love to win this for two reasons. One reason I’d like to win is because I am a writer who loves writing stories for children and I would be so inspired by everything about Spookley that I know it would help me to write even more and better stories.
The second reason I’d like to win is because I have a whole bunch of young grandies and we love reading together. I would get to read this with them many, many times because it is so cute that none of them would be able to resist.
