Taco Salad

Taco Salad

½ pinto or black beans
3 tbsp low fat grated cheese
2 oz taco seasoned lean ground beef
1 tomato diced
1 cup red onions and green peppers diced
1 cup lettuce shredded
1 corn tortilla, toasted and broken into
chips
2 tbsp guacamole
2 tbsp fresh salsa

Brown ground beef and season with taco
seasoning. Mix all the ingredients in a
large bowl and enjoy!

    Great tip Lori! I don’t use seasoning packets either, the sodium content is through the roof! I use whole foods as well, and I put some cumin and cilantro for some taco flavor.
